Roller Skating Was Good Exercise For Me To Improve Stamina
Roller Skating Was Good Exercise For Me To Improve Stamina. I’ve been wanting to try roller skating for some time now. I went roller skating once at the Coventry Mall, but I had to ask my friend who was skating to tell me how to get on the floor, because I didn’t know. So, when I found out that one of the classes at Wintergreen were roller skating, I told myself that was the one. So, on a recent Saturday, I showed up at the gym ready to get my exercise in. That night, I didn’t want to mess around on the elliptical. I wanted to stay on the rollers for two hours straight, so I did. It was great. The instructor was great.
It was fun, but it was also tiring. I did laps around the rink, for quite some time. I walked down the aisle, looked out at the arena, and the roller skaters all seemed like they were having a good time. I remember being in my teens when I tried roller skating and it was great, but there was no way I could do it for more than five minutes. But I want to see how far I can take it, and if I can keep up with them. After my two hours, I felt like I’d had a roller skating roller derby, where they were chasing you, trying to knock you off. If you fell, they would fall in a pack around you. It was so cool. It made me want to do it more and more.
I like to be able to do things for me and to push myself to be able to do more. So, I’ve been waiting for a friend who is skating regularly to get back from vacation, and then we’ll go again. I also wanted to do it on roller skates, not roller skates with blades. I know, it’s almost impossible, but it’s a fun goal to have. And I can skate so well now, I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. Even when I was skating with roller blades, I got on the roller skates without problems. I’m sure it will be a blast. So, I’ll be back on the skates soon. The Roller Skating Cardio Party is every Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. For more information, visit springfieldrec.com or call 417-877-7001.
